- Think Fast: Budget Offers Great Savings on Late Summer Rentals
PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- (Marketwire) -- 08/24/10 -- Budget Rent A Car
invites customers to "Think Fast" and take advantage of limited-time
offers in its summer-ending promotion. Now through September 13,
subscribers of Budget Hot Deals, a weekly email newsletter, will
receive special money-saving offers good only if they Think Fast and
reserve within seven days. For example, subscribers who received a
recent Hot Deals email saved up to 35 percent on a weekend or weekly
rental for pickup through September 30.
"We've always known Budget customers appreciate a good deal, so it's
no surprise that nearly 200,000 renters to date have taken advantage
of Think Fast," said Becky Alseth, senior vice president of marketing
for Avis Budget Group, parent company of Budget. "We invite our
current Budget Hot Deals subscribers to Think Fast again and
encourage others to sign-up and save."

today announced the rollout of Avis Blast, a new SIRIUS XM Radio
service available at more than 70 Avis locations in the United
States. Compatible with almost all Avis vehicles, the service
features the easy-to-use XM onyX satellite radio, with a
high-resolution color display, easy-to-use controls and more than 170
channels of programming from SIRIUS XM.
Avis Blast is being offered at major airports and select Avis
off-airport locations, including: Albuquerque, Atlanta, Baltimore,
